Despite our utmost care, at times we just can't avoid cracking or chipping our precious crockery and crystal ware when washing them. To prevent this, spread a thick tablemat, a towel or a plastic sheet on the sink before washing. Place the glassware/crockery inside. Pour liquid soap generously on them and rinse gently under running water. To dry, spread them on a large towel and leave to dry naturally. Do not wipe. Or else, the fluff from the cloth will stick to the glassware and be difficult to remove.
